Black History Month
Black History Month with our 3-4s
Before our activity, we had a gentle conversation about how people can look different - Our skin, eyes, hair, or even things like wearing glasses. All the beautiful things that make us unique!
We talked briefly about Martin Luther King Jr., and how he dreamed of a world where his children would be treated with love and kindness, no matter their skin colour or background. We linked this to our nursery, where we already practice those values every day… being kind, respectful, and inclusive.
With big smiles, they called out things like, “We are all best friends!”
