Try this at home!
The claw machine! 🤏
All you need is:
- A tray or container.
- Small loose parts such as pom poms, pipe cleaners, buttons.
- Masking tape.
- Tweezers, scoops, chopsticks or even your fingers.
Another set up by my mini me Darcie, use the tools to try to grab the loose parts from the tray, with the added challenge of a masking tape maze to get though. Inspired by the claw machines in arcades, (can you guess what someone's enjoyed this summer as well as creating these tuff trays and catching up with your little ones 😂).
A great activity to work on fine motor skills and Co ordination with the potential for learning in all areas through sorting, estimating, counting and comparing.
