Nursery Manager

Robyn

Hello, I'm Robyn.
I began my journey working with Eileen at Mara nursery, where I worked in the preschool room as the Room Leader for two years, also taking on the role of deputy manager and furthering my studies to be a valuable team of management.

I qualified my Level 3 childcare in 2013 and have had permanent roles working in Nurseries ever since, across the ages from 6 months to 4 years.

I am a very creative person and Nursery provides lots of opportunities to explore my creativity and imagination while leading my team to provide every Child with an exciting, memorable and educational experience through their early years journey.

During the pandemic I found a passion for gardening and am very much looking forward to taking part in ‘forest school’ activities in our beautiful natural garden space.

I live on a narrow boat in a Marina, where I met my boyfriend, Wayne. He also has his own narrow boat, and we live between the two of them with our three cats, Rosie, Garfield and Boyce.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy sewing clothes, going for bike rides along the canal, reading books and socialising with friends.

Nursery Practitioner

VALENTINA

Hi, My name is Valentina and I am a Nursery Practitioner here at Nest Nursery. I am originally from Albania and I have been leaving here in London since 2004. I have a Level 3 Diploma (Early Years Educator). I have worked for a year a few years back at Buxton Bears nursery in Chingford but I had to take a break because I wanted to focus on raising my children. This is my first year at Nest and I absolutely love Working with such a welcoming and friendly environment. Ever since I had my own children I have always been interested in working with children and give them the best start in life.

Nursery Lunch Time Support

SAM

I live in and love this area. After a career break raising two girls and not wanting to return to my office job in central London, I decided to follow my heart and embrace my love for play. I enjoy knitting, crafting and sewing. I often bake and adapt recipes to cater for allergies. My vegan, nut free chocolate cake has been called Bruce bogtrotter worthy! When I’m not doing any of the above I love spending time with my Jack Russell pup, my third (and final!) baby

I enjoy working with children and playing a part towards their development and learning and watching them thrive. I enjoy creating stimulating play environments to help enrich the children’s learning further.

Hi , I’m mollie and I have been working for the nest since December 2023. I always knew I wanted to work in early years but it was finding the right time to work around my daughter. Now she’s older and heading into year 1 I have the time to pursue my career in early years. I absolutely love working at the nest and have learnt so much. My goal is to progress into working as SENCO.

DILEM

Hi everyone, my name is Dilem and I’m a level 3 apprentice at Nest Nursery. I’ve been in this role since the start of January and my favourite thing is learning as I go. I enjoy everything here, from working between both rooms, the staff and Nest family. My role is to provide the best opportunities and ensure each child explores life to the fullest! Before anything, creating a loving and caring environment and sharing emotions with the children has been the best. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and I’m looking forward to reaching a hand out to everyone.
